Hey beauty lovers, it was an utterly gorgeous affair this season at the Paris Haute Couture 2015 runways. After returning home to L.A. for several days and now packing my bags for the nearing fashion month, I wanted to take a moment to share my favorite look from the Couture shows I worked on, which is also, in my opinion, the most elegant updo of 2015 thus far! Fresh baby flowers and clean hair. Not much product was needed to achieve this soft virginal 'do created by Guido, mostly just a fine mist of Redken hairspray after for hold. We took a section from one side behind the ear, split it in two and started twisting one piece over the other forward, following the hairline, adding little sections of hair to each new twist. This is known as a rope-braid, which you can discover easily on the interwebs! This version for Valentino was wrapped gently, so we could loosen it around the face for a pretty and effortless look.

I love this because it is a totally accessible style for everyday, especially for Spring! Think cotton dresses, music festivals and Sundays at the park. You cannot go wrong taking hair tips from a Valentino show, always a great source of effortless and elegant inspiration!
